About the Artist
Hello, mortals! My name is Abril Huerta and I'm an illustrator, comic artist, printmaker. I specialize in horror, sci-fi, punk, and apocalyptic themed work, but I can work in other genres. Mostly, I work digitally on Photoshop, Procreate, and Clip Studio Paint, but I have done work traditionally like silk screen-printing.
I have done work with various places in the Greater Cincinnati, including Art Academy of Cincinnati, Fairfield Lane Public Library, SOS Art, Tiger Lily Press, the Contemporary Art Center, Zonta Club of Cincinnati, and Zinecinnati. My list of events and projects are below. I am also a board member and secretary of Treehouse Cincinnati, a member of Zonta Club of Cincinnati, and a member of Tiger Lily Press.
