About the Artist
Hello, mortals! My name is April Huerta and I'm an illustrator, comic artist, screenprinter, and garment designer. I specialize in horror, sci-fi, punk, and apocalyptic themed work, but I can work in other genres. Mostly, I work digitally on Photoshop, Procreate, and Clip Studio Paint, but I have done work traditionally like silk screenprinting.
I have done work with various places in the Greater Cincinnati, including Art Academy of Cincinnati, Fairfield Lane Public Library, SOS Art, Tiger Lily Press, the Contemporary Art Center, Zonta Club of Cincinnati, Zinecinnati, Black Power Initiative, and The Know Theater. My list of events and projects are below. I am also a board member and secretary of Treehouse Cincinnati and a board member of the English Language Learning Foundation.
